You are talking about the California Duster. I keep one in the trunk of my car to use in between washings. I wouldn't recommend it for electronics. The "dust attacting chemical" is paraffin wax. If you press hard enough it will leave wax residue behind.
I use the Swiffer Duster together with the telescoping wand on my electronics. It gets in-between and under components, does a fantastic job of attracting and holding dust, does not scratch delicate surfaces and has no chemicals to leave a residue behind.Glen
