Thanks"First - stop worrying:)"
Not worrying yet. Wondering when I should start."1) Do a search for the many threads already addressing this subject"
Searched this and other forums. Found info but it did not answer all of my questions. It may be there with another search string but not with what I tried"2) Phone up your local postal outlet (all the ones that they send your undelivered parcels to) and check that it is not sitting there due to delivery faiulure."
Done that."3) Wait delivery date + two weeks before worrying. It is not unusual for customs to take a month to clear large items, but keep checking with your local postal outlet."
Sounds like good advice and what I was looking for. This would be quite a while after the auction though and I was concerned that some rights I might have may lapse."4) Next time, if you want proper tracking and timely delivery, bite the bullet and ship UPS or Fedex."
Seller wanted to use USPS for international and info on this forum, other forums, and ebay seems pretty consistent that USPS is a better option into Canada. USPS has fast delivery options with tracking at high cost (probably near to UPS and Fedex). I couldn't find a lower cost option with trackingDavid
