This week it's laser light. Next week it will be gamma rays. After that it will be polarized UV light. Then it will be cryogenic exposure. Then nanotechnology organisms will play packman with unwanted contaminants. Where does the nonsense end and the engineering begin? I think the answer to that is in the advertising department. When every rational possibility of inventing a new variant of a well trod concept is exhausted, you start on the irrational ones so you have some way to sell more product.
