Might've used the DBT too loosely. Food allergy testing implements DBT in the true sense of the term. For food sensory testing, subjects are in a enclosed booth only seeing the samples as they come through a door and not being influenced by the tester. Sometimes the food company only send the testers coded samples for them to test and are not given a clue what the different variables are, only asking for the results.
