amp problem - self-induced....

dang. i think i shorted across speaker terminals on my amp (classe CA101). i was moving a stinkin tv cable box and one of the connector cables flopped down in back of the amp, which was playing music at the time. heard a pop, then the receiver (serving as pre-amp) went into protection mode. removed the dangling cable, turned things off and back on in routine order, but the amp seems to have crashed. what i get, from left speaker only, is a poor quality, maybe mono sound; nothing from the right speaker (these are tyler acoustics for what that's worth). meanwhile, my receiver acting alone w/o the amp in pre-out mode, seems fine. it runs both left and right speakers; speakers seem fine. must be amp, 'right? there's a fuse on the back, but it looks fine. there are two rail fuses inside, but manual says don't mess with them - take to dealer. any better ideas? dammy. is this likely worse than just fuse?
