Bill, I take exception to your "only sell to registered US buyers" rule.
There are millions of honest people outside of the United States.
Remember the famous Randy Bogess, who operated a phony stereo store (in Virginia?)? He almost defrauded me of U$ 800. I was lucky to find a "hate page" on the Internet before I closed the deal.
Every society has its share of crooks, including my poor country.
As prospective buyers/sellers, we do have mechanisms like Yahoo People Search, Ebay feedback, Agon feedback, AA search, Paypal and Escrow services to protect us against the crooks.
I suggest that we use the information network and share facts instead of making blanket statements.
Respectfully, peace at AACarlos
