I think the quest for great sounding equipment at a reasonal price has ended.Aurum Cantus Leisure 2se/Kavent cd 731 .

Hi,
I have bought and sold more equipment than I care to speak about.
I have owned the JM Reynaud Offrandes,Tyler Acoustics and Focus Audio 688 monitors to name a few.I have also owned Metronome cd1,Pentagon cd 70 and the Vecteur d2/Audiomat tango dac.
All very good equipment.
Like some I always was looking for better.
I decided to try to downsize and find good equipment at a more reasonable price.
First the Aurum Cantus Leisure 2 se from Kellsie AV Design.Imported and modded by them.
A very detailed but musical speaker with exceptional bass. The g2 ribbon tweeter is one of the best I have heard.A full bodied monitor.
Next I got the Kavent cd 731 tube CDP made by Shengya of China. This is one of the most enjoyable CD players I have heard.I tried some of the ear bleeding tracks and was surprised to hear the smoothness and detail.
All and all a very musical and enjoyable combination.
The next step is to try the Kavent a210 intergrated amp which may replace the CR Developments Romulis Intergrated which is very good.
The purpose of the post is to point out that there is very good sounding affordable equipment out there.
Thanks
