I am in the same boat....

After studying all the posts on this site for three straight days, and several printed articles. This is what I concluded:

1/ Aluminum shield is better than steel shield.
2/ Use #10 (10 Gauge) MCIG (metal clad isolated ground) wires. (Wires are inside a somewhat flexible metal conduit)
3/ Use 20A isolated ground hospital grade duplext outlets like Hubbel IG8300 or Pass & Seymour IG8300 (ones with a triangle and a dot on the face). If you have the cash, get the ACME cryogenic outlets, PS Audio outlets, or some other premium "Audio outlets".
4/ Isolated ground means connect the grounding directly back to the panel, not the shared groundstrip that all your other outlets share. It does NOT mean connecting to another grounding rod.
5/ Think about how many outlets you will need, and where to locate them. I am installing two duplexes per each line.
6/ Make sure that the two dedicated lines are on the same phase, opposite of the circuits where your major appliances are plugged into.
7/ HIRE A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN! I've just written a specification for the electrician to install this in my house. If you would like a copy, e-mail me.
