I would also suggest sending it to a company such as Jena Labs. They have the experience treating these types of components. My company Frozen Solid has treated tubes, and from the feedback from my customers, they are extremely satisfied with the treatment. I think you will be pleasantly surprised when you hear the difference they make to audio cables.
