RIP – all good things must end

Hi –

Sorry to hear that the little cdp that could is terminal. Build quality was not one of its’ strong points - only a matter of time. I've blown more on less amusing things, so no regrets from me.

Anyway, was thinking about ways for you to finally get the financial retributions and recognition for releasing the “plague”. Send the unit to a cryogenic lab, they should be able to freeze it and thus preserve the "original" DNA. Then you could either

1) send DNA samples to the Institute for Genomic Research - if they can clone a sheep, they should be able to figure out to resurrect the Tosh back to life. Market the new units yourself this time.

2) sell the DNA samples to all of the CDP manufactures that lost sales - maybe they’ll figure out how to make their products as good for less money. Should be worth something to them to get thier market share back.

3) donate it to the Smithsonion Institute – for those that were unfortunate enough not to hear it would at least be able to see it. Charge like pay-per-view.

4) ebay it as "as the original unit that rocked the audio industry” – collectors may go nuts.
