Your wish list plus one dead president ($100) looks like a description of the Audio Aero Prima CDP.
It has a magic-sounding tube output stage, Phillips transport, the latest Burr Brown chip set, extensive re-clocking, outstanding build quality, XLR and RCA outs, very un-fatiguing sound.
It reminds me a good mid-price vinyl rig minus the clicks and pops: correct timbres, no brightness, lots of harmonic weight and bloom.
In one word: MUSIC.
I own its big brother, the Capitole, but if I ever need to downsize and pocket some change, the Prima would make me happy.
