Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

The AA Capitole will not disappoint a music lover

I agree with the previous posters, the Audio Aero Capitole is the most analogue sounding CD player currently available. I have auditioned most of the higher priced competition, including DCS, Krell, ML, Wadia (though not the AudioMeca). The AA plays music, the others play HI-FI, IMHO.

It does get better with a good power cord. I use one of my own design that helps in the bass slam department. It's no Wadia, but I find the bass information (not quantity) outstanding from a musical point of view: lots of bass intonation, good image size, bass soundstaging (yes!). There's music happening in the bass range, not a monotonic rythm.
good luck in your search
