OK, your system is:
Amplifier: BAT VK-60 Mono Blocks
Preamplifier: BAT VK-30SE
Speakers: Thiel CS6
CD Player/DAC: Pioneer Elite DV-47Ai CD/SACD/DVD-Audio
Assemblage D2D-1 Sample Rate Converter
Assemblage DAC-2.7 Platinum w/HDCDTurntable/Phono Stage: Michell Gyro SE II
Origin Live RB250
Koetsu Redwood Signature
BAT VK-P10Since you have an analog rig with a Koetsu cartridge and an all-tube system, it seems to me that we have a language issue (I certainly have, sorry for my broken English). IMO the word is not Accuracy, you are after musical-sounding components.
I have owned the Cary and heard the BAT.
The most MUSICAL (not HI-FIish or etched) CDP that I know is the Audio Aero Capitole with the latest software version (4.4).
It is very reliable and gives me hour after hour of listening pleasure. After I got the AA, I rarely listen to my Linn/Benz/ARC analog rig anymore.
You can get one in mint condition on Agon for about the same as a BAT player or a new one for about 8K (guesstimate, I have not looked up prices lately). It IS a once-in-a-lifetime investment, IMHO very much worth it.
I wish you luck in your search.
To find a musical CDP that sinergizes with one's system is like hitting the jackpot.
