Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Please see attached post.
I no longer recommend removing the 500 ohm resistors and filter cap
from the Rega output. They are part of a low pass filter that can be heard as digital harshness if removed. Just replace the parts with better quality components (Riken resistors and polystyrene caps).

Also, I no longer cover the transport chips with 3m Copper tape, they
get too hot and may fail.

Here are the schematics of the digital and analog sections, courtesy of a french modder:

I have found out that the best sounding output RCAs are Vampire made of OFC (oxygen-free copper). There are two sizes:
The CM1F/CB needs a .375" hole and uses an inside nut.
The CM2F/CB needs a 1/2" hole and uses an external nut (it's easier to
disassemble).
I do not recall which ones I used, I suggest to try a pair of the smaller ones. If the backc panel hole is too big for them, I am sure the CM2F will fit. I recall that I did not need to enlarge the holes in the back panel.

Good luck in your mods
Carlos
