I love its analog-like sound (actually it sounds closer to SACD than to vinyl).
I have had one for 6 months and have been a happy puppy ever since.
Maybe a Wadia has more slam, otherwise I find the AA Capitole unbeatable as a means to enjoy my CD collection.
Apparently it does not care if the CD has jitter or is poorly recorded, it always extracts MUSIC from my CDs. Of course well recorded CDs sound better, my point is that it makes most of my poorly recorded CDs enjoyable. IT SWINGS.
BTW the internal circuits must do an outstanding reclocking job, because green pens, CD mats and Auric Illuminator make no difference on the AA Capitole.
