Ok, I've been thinking of upgrading to an external DAC for my Yamaha 5-disc changer. I'd like to get some extra quality by going with a 20 or 24 bit DAC, and using the optical out from this unit. Will adding a cheap external unit like the Entech 203.2 or California Audio Labs Gamma do much to improve the current 1-bit sound? Will I just shoot myself in the foot with an abundance jitter?
Any advice appreciated...
