Guess I must have had a better vinyl setup. SOTA vacuum Sapphire, SME 5, Koetsu Rosewood, VPI RCM. No distortion on any properly cut LP, including test tracks played hundreds of times. (Required several hours of hand adjustment of cartridge and tone arm to remove distortion, as done by ear.)
