RE: Wadia 27ix metal remote

Thanks to all who gave replies. I was able to take apart the remote pictured on the right. It has three small philips screws that hold the top and bottom half together. Once I took it apart I was able to dissassemble the rubber buttons from where they contact the circuit board. When I pulled away the rubber button section, I was able to view some buildup where the rubber button makes contact. It wasn't so much the rubber button not working it was more where it comes in contact with the circuit board. I used my finger nail and scraped the area and now my display off function works again. If any of you are lucky enough to have the Wadia remote that has upper and lower half. It will come apart with no issues.
