I have two of these heavy Wadia remotes. About three months ago one of the remotes fell about 2 feet from the arm of my listening chair onto the carpeted floor. Now none of the functions or buttons work on the remote. This is the 2nd time this happened. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I contacted Wadia's website which put me in touch with Audio Research who does the service work now for Wadia. After this happened the first time, I got a replacement remote which was pretty beat up but all the functions worked. After knocking the remote off the arm of my chair for the second time, this second remote has done the same thing. Any insights on how to fix or who I could send the remotes to for service? Could it be a broken circuit board underneath the plastic buttons. Any help would be greatly appreciated since they don't make these remotes anymore. The corners of the remote appear to use torx screws. Thanks in advance to anyone who offers advice.
