I've not seen any music, even organ music with 32 foot pedals, that has peaks below 30 Hz that are larger than peaks at higher frequencies in a spectral plot. There must be recordings out there, but I've yet to find them. My player software does room EQ and I use some low bass boost and the error counters would alert me if there was any clipping.
I have a 96/24 recording of a space shuttle launch, taken at the VIP station. This recording peaks at -0.2 dB FS and is not clipped. Most of this energy is low frequency noise with the peak at 10 Hz. The count-down voice over the PA system is -40 dB lower than the peak signal at launch. This live recording came from Bob Katz' web site. I would not call this recording a "test tone", more like a "digital destruction device". :-)
