I'm currently using a Music Hall CD25 which I find to be a bit bright sometimes. I'm interested in opinions on what the best upgrade for me would be. I'd like to find something used so I can get more for my money. I'm also more interested in non-tube units as the rest of my system is all tube...though I am open to suggestions. The sound I am after:I think cds sound like a joke compared to vinyl, therefore I want the FULLEST, sweetest, non-edgy, warm, and smooth sounding AUDIOPHILE cd player I can find.
Also, I have no interest in Cambridge, Rotel, NAD, Adcom, Heart(too murky), Marantz,....and I need something that will play cdrs.
