...OPA 2604 for the balanced outs.
IMO The BB OPA 2604 is probably the most musical, tube-like sounding opamp that I have heard. I have used it to tweak a few CD players.
AA uses the same basic output circuit with 6021W military tubes and BB OPA 2604 on all their digital products, including the less-expensive Prima CDP.
I have a Capitole and it DOES sound wonderful, with amazing soundstage layering and true to life instrumental timbre.
The Prima sounds slightly more "rounded", less detailed than the Capitole, which is actually a good thing if your system has solid state amplification and dome tweeters.
