Gold allows drawing a very thin wire. I have been using them for over a year on my long run from preamp to amps. They are excellent but I think have the signature color of gold, a burnished midrange. For some this would be optimal. I found they easily allowed evaluations of the Nordost Valhalla, Siltech Compass Lake, Omega Micro LCX7s, Vacuum Reference, Bodgan Silver Spirits, RS Palladiums, and Stealth Indra ics from the dacs to the preamp.
