I have tried all of Cardas connectors, plus several other brands. The real contender in the product line is the $$$ SRCA, however WBT and Vampire OFC connectors sound much more natural and musical.
Most of the lower-priced Cardas have a "disjointed" treble, specially the SLVR.
Cardas has many fine products, but IMHO they must do some homework on new connectors to catch up with the competition.
The SRCA makes a killer sub-woofer cable, no connector passes more tuneful bass IME.
BTW I agree that the Eichman plug is a good mid-price product, no more than that.
My favorites: Vampire 800C for soldering, WBT 108E for crimping.
Just my 2c, please wait while I get into my armor suit.
