Re: Shunyata Anaconds vs. Virtual Dynamics Nite

I haven't heard the Anaconda, so take this FWIW. I'm currently auditioning a Virtual Dynamics Nite on my Audio Magic Stealth PLC. I also tried it on my amp and cd player. I currently own a Shunyata Cobra and Black Mamba, as well as auditioned King Cobra V2's and Viper V2's. So I have some experience with the Shunyata 'sound' versus the Virtual Dynamics. The Nite is incredibly quick, detail and powerful. It has tremendous bass and is scarily quiet. The Shunyata cords that I've heard tend to be warm, sweet and musical. Not as quick, clean or powerful as the Nite, but there is some midrange magic. I think they each will serve a purpose in the right application. I do admit that I'm still smitten with the way Shunyata cords sound on digital gear. I don't care for them on amps or PLC's though. I'm leaning towards keeping the Nite though, as it mates very nicely with my amp and currently on my Stealth. I may even get another one for my amp. I hope this was of some help.

Regards,
John
