Cryogenic treament is a form of stress relieving. It is valid for many materials, metals included. By correctly cryo-freezing a brass musical instrument, for example, you can slighly improve the resonance of the instrument due to very minute micro changes of the material and relieving the stress induced during formation. But there is no solid proof that it changes the electrical properities of cables. As for cryogenically treating cables, no one I know has provided measurements that show any improvements of a cable before and after the process. There are several cable companies that do this process and charge way more then they should, but when you ask them to provide measurements, they spout philosophical nonsense, but offer no proof.
If you are interested in having a box full of cables cryogencially frozen for 72 hours, you can have it done at a few labs for about $20. Just type in the term in google and call a few of the labs that do it.
If you pay more then that, you are being overcharged for something that has little known effect on cables.
This forum will tell you differently and this post will likely not be here for long so I hope you got your answer before you are mislead.
