Try It Yourself; You'll See

At one time, we had three Stealths. Thus, we were able to do lots of face offs and investigate sevearal permutations.

We tried the Stealth on its own, using nothing but stock cords throughout the system. And then we re-wired the system with aftermarket powercords. If anything, the Stealth allows us to hear what the powercords can and cannot do. For example, it becasme clear that the Wireworld Aurora II bloated images, reducing the amount of space between each instrument. The API Powerlink was no good, like using a fat graphite pencil to draw pictures. The Kimber PowerKord Gold, as always, was above average, with an open midrange, and no rounding off of the treble and bass. The Tara Labs Air AC showed its balanced, across-the-board sonics.

When you do these evaluations, it helps to have enough powercords to use on all of your equipment. Just changing one or two powercords introduces changes, but not enough to come to definitive conclusions.

AC to electronics is like gasoline to an engine. You wouldn't put dirty fuel in your high-performance car, would you? Well, why would anyone want dirty electricity to run your stereo? Powercords are a part of this equation. They help deliver clean AC to your equipment.
