freezing premade cables results in cracked solder?

Isn't it true that if a premade interconnect cable was placed in a common household freezer, eventually a fine crack would form between the solder and the wire? Nevermind a much colder cryogenic freezing process or a dry ice/alcohol bath. If you want to experiment with cryogenic treatments, it makes sense to treat only the copper or silver wire itself and not an entire premade cable which would damage the connection between solder and wire.
