I now have nine of them after initially trying two. There is no question that they do improve with time and with cryogenic treatment. I would not argue that there might be better cords out there such as the Eichman and Elrods, but the Absolutes did a number on some very good and often expensive cords both in my system and in five friends' systems. I do not understand what is at the root of these differences in reaction. I know some might say my friends and I cannot hear sh.t, but I do not think that is it and certainly our systems are quite revealing. I am perplexed.I do not think you could expect much better build quality for the money, but then again RS has $5 ac cords that look the same. And I remember when Tiffany cables sought to equal the RS cord but use better materials. They failed!
