Mat

Ford does not just talk about deep cryogenics, Ford actually admits to using deep cryogenics. If you are unable to obtain a copy of the article let me know and I will post it out to you. Also I can provide you with a couple of samples of copper, one deep cryo treated, one not. The samples that I can provide for you are from the same batch of one of my customers that makes cables and interconnects. These are the same cables and interconnects that are on page 10 of the November 2001 edition of Hi-Fi Choice magazine (UK). The cables and interconnects were given the
Magazines “5 star rating” and the received the “Editors Choice Award”. This is just a quick blurb on what the magazine had to say about the cables:

“The Cryogenic process has enhance that cable’s qualities by increasing solidity of stereo-making voices and
Instruments sound more real and in the room-and also increasing the richness of tone and detail. This is a first-class cable that does transparency, detail, speed and evenness of balance extremely well but is of the highest standard when it comes to imaging and bass.”

Sorry if I implied that there is a conspiracy theory amongst the toolmaking industry, it was just a thought. Another thought is would toolmakers want to add an additional 72 hours to their heat treating recipes?

Provide me with an address and I will get the samples out to you. All I would ask is that you come back to this forum and let us all know your findings.

You may find this interesting; the customer (mentioned above) is also a trained metallurgist who was skeptical of deep cryogenics 8 months ago. He is now a firm believer in the process because of the audible improvements that have been attained by incorporating deep cryogenics into his production
