Re: Dilemma with phono interconnects

Charles - In my system (Graham 2.2 arm), using the Graham Delux Junction Box with either Stealth PGS (not phono specific) or MIT 350 Reference (phono specific) RCA-to-RCA interconnects from the junction box to the phono preamp gives me much better results than using Graham's dedicated silver phono cable. I just got the MIT cable, so my opinion is conditional, but the MIT cable seems to outperform the Stealth. I'm running Stealth from the phono preamp (Sonic Frontiers Phono One SE) to my preamp and from my preamp to amps. The MIT/Stealth mix seems so far to work pretty good. The MIT cable seems to add a much better holographic soundstage with more specific imaging, without sacrificing anything I like about the Stealth PGS cables. The MIT also seems to increase the life and dynamics of the sound.

Stealth is trying to make up a dedicated PGS phono cable with a 90 degree DIN plug that will fit the Graham used on a Basis 2500 table. I hope to be using that soon and will report.
