You can use an Asylum cord as an extension, just install a 15A NEMA female end instead of an IEC. If you've run out of breaker space, have an electrician check your panel to see if it will accommodate half-size breakers, a.k.a. 1/2-inch breakers, a.k.a. tandem breakers. These allow two circuits in a single 1" space.
