compared to the Tel Wire. Neither was the Oyaide Tunami GPX which is a favorite cable of mine. I've also heard Lessloss and Alan Maher's Studio Reference versus the Tel Wire and in each case in my system I preferred the Tel Wire.
Only the Stealth Dream and M5000 were better, and not by much, in head to head comparison. The Stealth cables exhibited a lower noise floor and some extra body and weight, but in light of the Tel Wire's pseudo-unshielded design and neutral signature this could be expected. Considering I have 3 Tel Wires for roughly 2/3 the cost of what I paid for the Stealth Dream (and everyone knows the generous discounts you can get on these cables) swapping in the Tel Wire's into my system was a no-brainer.
For point of reference I'm using the Tel Wire's on the Lessloss DAC 2004 MkII, CEC TL-51X, and Jeff Rowland Capri. I may yet try them on my VAC Musicblocs for kicks.
