I wish to understand power cables better. I can see how good hospital grade receptacles and plugs are a good idea, for good contact. What i don't understand is cryogenic treating, silver wire, etc. How does the last meter of about 400 miles of corroded wet steel wire change the sound? I also do not understand how a good power cable can make your turntable sound better, all that it being run is a motor. Is their a property in silver that absorbs surges or smooths the sine wave?
thanks
