FYI - I have used many Furutech FP15 receptacles. The link between the two halves of the duplex cannot be separated without damaging it, although the manufacturer has instructions on the box for split-wiring. I have tried breaking off the links in an FP15 and ended up damaging the receptacle, rendering it useless. The links in the FP15s are not the 2mm or so wide like your typical duplex. See the picture and compare the contact area of the Furutech versus your typical other brand receptacle. See how wide the link area of the Furu is compared to the couple of millimeters of the other receptacle.Glen
