Just to quote some published clues to you:
"Tests by major companies found advantages:-
Tests done by Boeing/Sunstrand demonatrated cryogenic processing edtended the life of circuit board in military applications, specially boards used in crusie missiles.
Tests on transformers showed treated transformers had significantly less hysterisis. The magnetic core saturated less.
Tests on transistors showed a decreasse in rise time. Other tests indicate greatly increased contact life on ralays, swithces & circuiit breakers."
Chicago Audio Society once conducted an audition test (blind or sighted was not specified) with some 30 people there. The unanimous verdict passed down was the cryoed component sounded better.
