hi.absolute best has to be determined by you and not someone else, at least IMHO and IME, some very good (and i am being rather conservative in praise here) cables in single ended design include the Cerious, Stealth Varidig, Silversmith Silver, and Stereovox HDVX. I have had all in my system (actually I still own all 4.....and won't sell them!), and have also owned cables from marigo, cardas, xlo, yamamura, harmonic technology and fms. BTW, i use a 4 box system that rivals my Audiomeca analog setup IMHO.
One cable that i have heard in another's system, for an afternoon is the Stealth Sextet....very nice, and expensive.
