The pic is not upside down. The ground pin is not SUPPOSED to be oriented in any particular direction. There is no NEC requirement stating that a receptacle should be oriented with the ground pin down or up. Receptacles are often oriented with the ground pin up as a safety measure, should a metallic object happen to fall across a partly inserted plug. The object will contact the ground pin instead of shorting the hot and neutral.
