you really will hear your recordings for what they are. If you have grow accustomed to euphonious, forgiving, diplomatic crowd pleaser designs you might be, from time to time, put off by the candor of Stealth. If there is greatness in the recording, greatness is what you'll hear. As for the great wide swath of mediocrity and technical incompetence on the production side, none of that will be tarted up either. The first weeks of listening were kind of a shock, in many cases it absolutely seemed that I was listening to material I knew well for the first time. Certain things I wasn't too engaged by showed levels of craft that I had never been aware of, other recordings revealed grating errors or bad musical taste that were easy to gloss over....Stealth may be too honest for some customers.
