Coincedently I dropped my foreplay, Paraglow II's, Exception like pre, ART DIO, all cables including rolls of cables yet to be made, resistors, a few CD's, IEC's, P&S receptacles and finally the kitchen sink :-) off at a Cryogenic place this morning. (yes I have put all my eggs in one basket!)I have heard of problems with certain plastics, including the rubber seals on Electrolytics, with certain processes. My understanding is these materials (or rather these and adjoining materials) must be cooled/re-heated very slowly so that they contract/expand equally (IE not a submerge, rather a computer controlled descent (~1degree F/ minute IIRC). I have confidence in the facility that is doing this for me (however I still expect to have something come back less than perfect, C'est la vie).
The process will begin on Friday, will be held for 48 hours and then brought back to room temp. for noon monday. Unfortunately I won't be able to fire up the system for a week or two (w/o parts), but I'd suggest you don't rush into this, as I can be the sacrificial lamb. (Smooth Plate, Doc and I'm sure many others have already tried different things so they might have more info. for you.)
I am only going to be able to do a couple of true A/B comparisons, but will report my thoughts in a few weeks.
