Someone was asking me how to do cryogenic freezing on their own.A long time ago I had to find out why a permanent magnet lost some of it's field strength. It was because it got too cold. The B in the B-H loop reduces as the material gets cold and the flux drops one time to the new B level. I don't even remember which material it was I had the problem with. I thought I would let the forum know they need to check the material characteristics out before they freeze a Lowther or a magnetic tape.
