Thanks AP! Your measurements help a lot.49.3cm divided by 2.54cm per inch = 19.4 inches wide, heat sink outside edge to outside edge. The rack support posts are 19.75" apart so there will be just a tiny bit of room on each side, barely.
Have to be real careful sliding the amp into the rack between the support posts to avoid scratching the amp heat sinks or the rack.
The reason I ask is because I've seen a couple nice SA-100 Mk3's up for sale. The SA-102's are still fairly expensive but maybe they will come down now that the SA-103 is out. The way I've been going through amps lately, it's just a matter of time before a Plinius makes it into my system.
Is the SA-102 that much better than the 100 Mk3? Is it worth paying a little more for a used SA-102 ......or will a SA-100 mk3 give me a good representation of the Plinius sound?
