Looking for a new Amp or Preamp? If you're after tubes, post over here.

Re: to BEE or not to BEE

I would not recommend either of these options as a new purchase because I would only expect a marginal improvement.

Assuming that the amp you are considering will not be the last amp you ever buy, making many small steps in quality is expensive compared to making a lesser number of larger steps.

If however you find a secondhand 352 or 372 and can make a small upgrade at minimal cost, that might be different.

One option to consider if it would suit you is an older amp in good condition with no remote. This may permit you to get a far better amp than you would otherwise consider.

It you want specific suggestions that are useful, it is important to identify what you would like to improve about the amp or system (eg clarity, ability to play loud with inefficient speakers, ability to drive difficult loads, musicality) and how important appearance, remote control and age of the amp are to you.
