My two cents: You will need an amp of at least 200+ wpc which can put out amperage into 3 ohms. Why do I say this? I have the speakers in my living room. I have tried 30,70, 120 and 250 watt amps on these. Bigger is better.A Bryston 4BST will do it, but I don't think it is of the best quality. I sold mine. Some have said the newer 4BSST, some have said a Sim Audio amp. Like you, I'm searching for an amp for these quite decent, but very power hungry, speakers.
