Re: 220v amplifier in UK and Canada

I just read my voltages at a kitchen outlet. I have 120V & 122V on the phases and 242V between them. I think this is pretty typical for my place in Victoria BC. (A long way from Ontario but I suspect that the voltages there would be similar.) I am not aware of 120/240 V ever having caused me a problem but I am not familiar with your new amp and I can see why you may be cautious.

I doubt that moving from 50hz to 60 hz is an issue for an amplifier. It probably means that the power supply capacitors are a bit larger than they need to be.
