My power amplifier circuit diagram for the A28B / P28 shows an F. 1.5 fuse (I assume that means fast blow 1.5A). It is on a 70V rail for each channel and the quiescent set point is shown at 320mA.My A28B manual shows a 2A fuse on the incoming AC for 120 V operation. I assume that the P28 would be the same and that for 240V operation you would want a 1A fuse on the AC.
I do not see any bridging circuitry but that may be upstream of my diagram.
If both amps are blowing fuses, you need to figure out why before feeding it more fuses.
I suspect the suggestion below is worth checking out. i.e. The problem being a consequence of using normal speaker connections with the amps set up for bridged operation. I do not however have any experience with this.
What does the seller say?
Have you contacted Sugden?
Good luck
David
