Yes the new MC275 MKIV does have a 490 volt chassis like the MA2275 and this will produce over 80 watts at the extremes of 20 or kHz and over 90 midband. The transformers are the larger designs used in the MA2275 although they do barely fit in the standard transformer cans. The new 275 uses one large circuit board that has the ceramic tube sockets with gold plated contacts, mounted directly to the board. The board is attached to the chassis using the heat pipes as seen on the MC2000 and MC2102 where this construction was first used. By eliminating much of the internal wiring the signal to noise has improved and the new circuit design yields more power with less distortion. The MC275s will begin shipping this month. The amp ships with the tube cage and KT88 SED output tubes.
