Capacitors: Size & Quality

Ok.. coming across some specs. for the big boy amps, I notice they generally have inceased capacitance values as the size & price goes up. I understand that, more reserve power = better transients, bass, etc.

If you look at a top dollar amp like the Gryphon Antileon, the specs. say it has 220,000 µF of capacitance, and double that in the monoblock version, or 0.44 Farads. The inside views of the product show a box filled with caps, I think 40 or so.

So, how would an amp sound if it just had 1 or 2 BIG caps - like the ones in car audio? Those puppies fit 1 to 3 Farads in ONE $250 cap:

Would these also introduce a problem of charging during start-up - drawing a really large current & thus demanding a huge power supply?

I'm no electrical engineer, so just taking stab in the dark as you can see... your opinions / experience are appreciated.
