The C45 also has dual stereo outs for bi-amping, you can program an output to be L+R summed and full range for a powered sub with built in crossover. The C45 has 7 stereo inputs and the two 6 channel ins can be assigned to any of the 7 inputs which can also be renamed or deleted to match your source components. All of the inputs can be trimmed up or down 6 dB to level match your inputs. The balanced stereo-in is assignable to any input and the six channel outs are both balanced and unbalanced. The AM/FM TM1 tuner module is the same as in the McIntosh MR85 tuner, is very high performance and comes with a powered AM antenna. The programmable triggers can be used to turn on additional amps when listening to a 6 channel source such as SACD, DVD-A, DVD, etc.
The C45 is one of the quietest pre amps in the world. All of the additional features are a bonus.
