That is actually the amp that I was interested in when I first contacted Dennis, the KT-150. Dennis seemed to be more interested in selling me a KT-88, he seemed to really like the ability to roll different KT-88's over just the Tung Sol KT-150. I know that your amp can use either, so I don't really know why Dennis was so high on the KT-88, but I followed his advice and went with his recommendation.
He says that my KT-88 amp can use KT-150 tubes too, though some feel that the smaller transformer in the KT-88 versus the KT-150 would not get the best out of the KT-150 tube. Maybe one day I'll find out. I have heard that the KT-150 is very powerful sounding, and I'm sure that your 400% duty cycle transformer will provide more power than my 200% duty cycle transformer, but at least I can get a taste of the KT-150, if not the full flavor.
Is your KT-150 Fire Bottle in the stock cream or black color? I had mine painted Jaguar Blue to match my Cary SLP-98P F1 preamp
